Marinelly is passionate about global development issues, particularly inequality, which is why she has worked in public policy for her entire career. With close to 20 years of experience, she has worked at the intersection of public policy issues. SHe has participated in government, lead a nonprofit, and occupied in-house roles at leading tech and consumer products companies, like Meta (Facebook) and Empresas Polar. A lawyer by training, her areas of expertise include regulation, advocacy, cross-sector partnerships, and programmes across a range of areas such as economic development, gender equality and digital literacy, including future work skills like augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR).
Marinelly is Venezuelan and comes from a traditional Italian family that migrated to Caracas in the 1950s, which is why she loves food, wine and family above all. She’s fluent in Spanish, Italian and English, and is currently studying Portuguese.
