Petrina Leong

Petrina is a communications and advocacy specialist with over 20 years of experience providing strategic advisory for the extractive industry and financial services sector in Indonesia. She has advised and managed policy and advocacy engagements for private and non-profit organisations including Visa Indonesia, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance.
Petrina assisted Indonesia’s National Financial Inclusion Council Secretariat to set up and manage a Project Management Office funded by BMGF. She was previously a Director of Strategic Partnerships at Women’s World Banking, and co-founded a publishing firm with 13 magazine titles in Indonesia and Singapore. Hailing from Singapore, Petrina is a long time resident of Indonesia.
