Senior Advisor, Indonesia
Passionate to facilitate multi-stakeholder initiatives, Amri has experience in communications, public diplomacy and social media implementation within the Indonesian President’s Delivery Unit and various UN bodies. As Indonesia’s National Coordinator for the International Trade Centre, Amri focused on the ‘SheTrades’ initiative by supporting women-owned SMEs through capacity-building programmes and business-to-business activities. In addition, Amri’s commitment to work with trade support institutions and the private sector increased the likelihood of women vendors being added to the supply chains of large corporations.
Amri’s compassionate side led him to co-found the Jakarta Sibs Club, a local community of siblings of individuals with autistic spectrum disorder. He also loves to sing and plays online management simulation games, helping improve his real-world skills.
