Bulbul is an accredited partnership broker and a counsellor and mental health professional. Her experience in social development spans more than 25 years and includes working closely with non-government and community-based organisations as well as with international agencies and Government Ministries in India and South Asia.
She has supported cross-sector partnerships for sustainable development and humanitarian actions in many countries in the region, including India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal. An authorised Partnership Brokers Association (PBA) trainer, she has delivered training in Asia, the UK, Australia and Canada. She worked for many years in India’s GIZ Health Programme, advising Government Departments on public-private partnership policy in the context of reproductive and child health.
Based in Kolkata, Bulbul enjoys a good “adda”, an Indian word for a lively conversation with friends over cups of tea.
