Marianne Smallwood

Goal-oriented and collaborative, Marianne specializes in partnership building; corporate social responsibility; impact, social and environmental investing; and entrepreneurship. She has managed social impact projects for USAID including the Obama Administration’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) in which she led and created 15 private sector partnerships, and the Partnering to Accelerate Entrepreneurship (PACE) social entrepreneurship initiative for which she organized the selection of the first six partnerships. A Fulbright Research Scholar, Marianne has expertly managed multi-million-dollar projects focused on environmental sustainability in Southeast Asia and social enterprises across Asia Pacific. In addition, she helps companies navigate the B Corp certification process.

Fluent in French and Vietnamese, Marianne is also an avid rock climber.
